I have a 2002 Honda 500 Rubicon. We went riding on it today in the snow. When I put it on the truck no problem. When I went to get it off, I noticed two things. First, the throttle lever is really hard to push in. It always had some play on it, but none right now. Second, When I strated the engine, it started to race.

American Honda also tells me they never had a problem with the transmission.If there isn’t a step by step diagnostic, I’d identify the power and ground wires and check for positive and negative at those pins.
