So basically I wasted a whole season for nothing ... EA knows about this issue and has released a patch for it but it appears to have done nothing. Ive actually found a workaround for this issue, you need to use "manage saves" instead of using the "continue" option. Then you can go to your position of choice and load it manually and that stupid position change issue shouldnt occur.EA has not released a patch to fix this glitch as of this date. Because of this glitch, Face of the Franchise is unplayable. This is absolutely unacceptable. 2 people had this problem. I have Madden 24 for Ps4. I started Face of the Franchise as a running back.
