We did a bunch of research and even purchased a newer Mountain Hardwear tent which we ultimately returned in favor of the Shiftpod Mini. After setting up the Shiftpod in the yard a couple of times, we were thoroughly impressed by the ease of setup and tear-down — literally a couple of minutes to do either. And the Mini seemed like a perfect ...I imagine a shiftpod under bigger shade would work pretty well, and the full-size shiftpod definitely gives you room for a nice bed setup along with all your other stuff. The full size shiftpods are massive to move around: fine for playa and other substantial car camping missions, but definitely more of a hassle than normal tents.I had a shiftpod 2, and thought about cutting custom flooring for it but that would just become another thing to store, and to clean. Instead I got cheap lightweight moving blankets from harbor freight and used those as a flooring surface. They wash up really well in a front loader machine since they are not heavy like good moving blankets.Ozone destroys mold and funky stuff like cigarette smoke on a molecular level. I used them on funky nasty cars as a used car manager at a dealership to bust out odors from smokers and people that legit had health hazards for cars. Moldy food and crap. It'll ultra blast your Shiftpod for nasties.

So the other thing is the size of the tent packed up. I heard the shiftpod 2 is quite big and wonder if it would be able to fit in my 2 door 2021 bronco with the seats folded down.
